We had three wonderful days of intense painting with everyone creating several keepers. What an ambitious group! The weather was perfect for outdoor breaks and lunch on the deck., even painting on the deck!

Abernathy Creek is not far from my home. It is a beautiful, picturesque creek emptying into the Columbia River on the Washington side.
This painting "Abernathy Creek" took a long time for me to paint (3 months) and I hated it for much of that time so it just sat. Now I'm pretty happy with it and show you the steps I went through to create it.
